ARTOVIUMVerifying provenance

The process

A museum-grade workflow, streamlined.

Four phases take a work from studio to public passport. Each one is auditable, reversible and documented โ€” built to outlast galleries, platforms and trends.

  1. Phase 01

    Studio intake

Artist or gallery submits the work โ€” high-resolution images, medium, dimensions, edition, story. Our archivists review and normalise the record.

      Deliverables

    • โ€” Artwork Passport draft
    • โ€” Condition report
    • โ€” Edition register
  2. Phase 02

    Chip bonding

An NFC tag, tamper-evident QR or embedded RFID chip is bonded to the physical work in a non-destructive location (stretcher bar, panel reverse, base).

      Deliverables

    • โ€” NFC / QR / RFID hardware
    • โ€” Bonding photo log
    • โ€” Tamper seal
  3. Phase 03

    Certificate issuance

We hash the artwork metadata, sign the certificate, and optionally anchor it on-chain. The certificate is bound to both the chip and the passport.

      Deliverables

    • โ€” Signed COA (PDF + JSON)
    • โ€” Optional on-chain anchor
    • โ€” Soulbound certificate token
  4. Phase 04

    Public verification

Anyone can scan the tag with a phone โ€” no app, no account โ€” to view the passport, certificate, provenance and ownership chain.

      Deliverables

    • โ€” Public passport URL
    • โ€” Verification page
    • โ€” Provenance ledger
