ARTOVIUMVerifying provenance

Manifesto

Art has always been a record. We built one that survives.

Certificates of authenticity get lost. Gallery paperwork gets separated from the canvas. Provenance gets retold. Artovium binds the record to the work itself โ€” physically, with NFC chips and tamper-evident tags, and digitally, with cryptographic certificates and optional on-chain anchors.

Why phygital, not crypto-first

The strongest art market problems aren't speculative. They're structural: authenticity, provenance, resale royalties, certificate continuity. Artovium treats blockchain as one optional layer โ€” every artwork lives in a real database first, and chain references attach to that record, not the other way around.

Why we chip the painting

A physical artwork without a tag relies on paperwork that can be faked, separated, or lost. An NFC or RFID tag turns the artwork itself into the lookup key. Scan with any phone, see the full passport in seconds โ€” even years after the gallery has closed.

Why AR / XR is progressive

We do not believe galleries will be replaced by goggles. We do believe the next generation of collectors will want to place a work on their own wall before they fly to see it. WebXR makes that possible in the browser, and we add it as enhancement โ€” never as requirement.

Who we serve

Artists who want to own their record. Galleries who want museum-grade inventory tools. Collectors who want confidence at a tap. Institutions that need an auditable, exportable trail.
